We ship forced reset triggers and FRT parts to Houston, Texas by mail. There is no storefront to drive to and no counter to wait at. Texas law
Texas does not ban forced reset triggers, and it is not on our no-ship list, so the whole FRT catalog is available to a Texas address. The federal ruling that FRTs are not machine guns came out of the Northern District of Texas, which is the court that covers Dallas and Fort Worth.
Forced reset triggers are legal to own under federal law. In National Association for Gun Rights, Inc. v. Garland (N.D. Tex., Case No. 4:23-cv-00830) the court held that an FRT is not a machine gun, because the trigger still has to be pulled once for every round fired. The device pushes the trigger forward into reset as the action cycles; it does not fire more than one shot per function of the trigger. Shipping and timing

Humidity and steel parts
Gulf Coast air is hard on bare steel. The M&P 2.0 unit is 4140 nitrided, which holds up well, but the springs and pins in an FRT install are ordinary spring steel. Wipe them down and keep a light film of oil on the fire control group if the rifle lives in a safe in a Houston garage. We stock gun oil for that.
What we do not sell
An FRT is not a Glock switch and not an auto sear. Those convert a pistol to fire continuously from one pull, which is a machine gun under federal law and a felony to possess without the right paperwork. We do not stock them, and we will not order one for you. If a site offers both in the same catalog, treat everything else on it with suspicion.
Before you order
Check the fitment notes on the product page against your exact model and generation. Most returns we see are a buyer ordering the Glock unit for a pistol that is not a Glock, or the AR-15 unit for a rifle with a non-standard lower.
