Is Freedom Finger Triggers Legit? What to Check Before You Buy an FRT
"Is Freedom Finger Triggers legit" is one of the most searched questions about the brand, and for good reason: the FRT market has attracted plenty of sellers that take money and never ship, or ship something that is not what it claims to be. Here is how Freedom Fingers FRT holds up against the things worth checking, and how to check any FRT store, including us.
1. Is the product real and specific?
A legit trigger has fitment limits, because real parts have limits. The 22TY fits the Taurus TX22 and nothing else. The M&P 2.0 FRT does not fit the M&P 1.0, Shield, SD or Bodyguard. The Glock FRT does not fit the Glock 44. A store that says its trigger fits "all pistols" is a red flag.
2. Does it fire one round per pull?
Every Freedom Finger trigger is a forced reset trigger: the slide resets the trigger, you pull it again for the next round. That is what keeps it semi-automatic and legal under federal law after NAGR v. Garland. If a seller describes a device as "full auto" or "select fire", it is a machine gun conversion device and the seller is not one you want a shipping record with. We do not sell switches. More on the legal page.
3. Is there a no-ship list?
A store that will ship an FRT anywhere is either ignorant of state law or does not care. We do not ship FRT devices to CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, OR, RI, WA and Washington D.C., and the shipping policy says so up front.
4. Can you actually claim the warranty?
Freedom Finger FRT devices carry a lifetime warranty. Claiming it takes one email to support with your order number. No forms, no restocking argument for a defective part.
5. Tracked shipping and encrypted checkout
Orders ship in 1 to 2 business days with a tracking number. Card checkout runs through an encrypted payment page; we never see or store your full card number. Crypto is accepted too, settled on-chain.
6. Real support answers
Ask a fitment question and you get a fitment answer from someone who has installed the trigger on that pistol. Try it: send your model and generation to support and see what comes back.
The short version
Real products with real limits, one round per pull, a published no-ship list, a warranty you can claim, tracking on every order and encrypted checkout. That is what legit looks like, and it is how Freedom Fingers FRT operates. If anything on this site does not match that description, tell us and we will fix it.
